IT ALL STARTED IN 2015…

Starlandia Supply opened in June of 2015 with a small crew of employees, a handful of art supplies, and a simple idea: to help artists and crafters save money by creating a store that traded in old supplies.

The first couple of years were spent making as many mistakes as possible. From the get go we embraced change and iteration to discover the best ways to serve our customers with our unique business model. Slowly the piles of art supplies took form into what is now a quite sophisticated material reclamation and retail system with strong inventory management and a clear understanding of our process and purpose.

Today, Starlandia Supply processes over 20,000 pounds of art supplies and creative materials every year.

Every item we reclaim is another item that doesn’t need to be extracted from the earth, manufactured, and shipped; keeping local dollars local and our impact on the planet lighter.

What makes Starlandia super magical is that we do all this while lowering the cost of making art! Art should be accessbile to everyone and we’re helping lower the financial barrier that may inhibit makers from trying new things and exploring their creativity.
